Scope and Parental Consent
Our service is intended for minors (students). We collect student data only with the consent of their parent or legal guardian (the “Parent”). By enrolling a Student, you confirm that you are their Parent or are legally authorized to give such consent.
1. Overview and Acceptance
By registering or using Apolo Private Transport’s school transportation services (the “Service”), you accept these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not register or use the Service.
2. Definitions
Parent — the legal guardian or person who registers a Student and is responsible for payment.
Student — the minor enrolled to receive transportation.
Service — scheduled round-trip or one-way transportation between assigned pickup/drop-off points and the Student’s school.
Pickup/Drop-off Point — the location assigned for boarding or exiting the vehicle.
Reservation — an active, paid seat on a route.
Waiting List — a non-binding request for a seat.
No-show (Absence) — when the Student is not present at the Pickup Point during the scheduled pickup window.
Authorized Pickup Person — a person authorized by the Parent to pick up the Student.
Incident — any event affecting safety or service (e.g., accident, medical emergency).
Force Majeure — events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, government orders, school closures).
3. Service Area and Eligibility
We operate primarily in Miami-Dade County, including: Silver Bluff, Coconut Grove, Shenandoah, Coral Gables.
We may decline or suspend service for addresses outside the area.
4. Registration, Routes and Schedules
Register by completing the New Student Form or by sending a text message to (786) 803-3903 with the Student’s school and whether you want round-trip or one-way service.
We will verify the Student’s address and — if serviceable — provide a pickup/drop-off schedule within one week of confirmation.
Seats are not assigned; organization will be done in a safe and efficient manner.
5. Fees, Billing and Payment
Fees: Parents agree to pay the fees shown at registration or provided in writing by the Provider. Fees may change; any change will be communicated in advance.
Billing cycle: Service is billed weekly for the following week. Billing occurs on Sundays, unless otherwise specified.
Payment methods: [Cards, ACH, cash, others — specify]. Cash payments may be given to the driver on Monday mornings.
Overdue or unpaid balances: May result in service suspension until paid.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
To avoid charges for the next week, cancel before the Sunday prior to billing.
Refunds are handled case-by-case. Generally, refunds are not issued for Student absences or tardiness, as seats are reserved weekly.
If the Provider cannot operate the Service for 3 or more days in a week due to Force Majeure or other external causes, we will issue a prorated refund or credit.
7. Pickup/Drop-off Windows and Absences
Morning pickup: 3 minutes from the driver’s arrival at the Pickup Point.
After-school pickup (from school): 5 minutes after school dismissal.
Drop-off scheduling aims for Students to arrive approximately 15 minutes before school start, subject to routes and distance.
If the Student is not present during the window, the driver will leave; Parents will be notified. There will be no refund for absences.
8. Authorized Pickup and Delivery
The registered Parent may authorize others by sending a message to (786) 803-3903.
The driver may request photo identification before releasing the Student. If an unauthorized person attempts pickup, the Student will not be released until authorization is confirmed.
If the student does not board the vehicle after school during the designated time, the driver will communicate with the Parent of the student to inform them that the Student is not at the assigned pickup location. The driver reserves the right to continue the day’s schedule after communicating by phone text with the Parent. [PLEASE REVIEW THIS POINT]

9. Conduct, Safety and Equipment
Seat belts must be worn at all times; Students must remain seated while the vehicle is in motion.
Eating is not permitted inside the vehicle to maintain cleanliness and avoid allergy risks.
Only personal school backpacks are allowed; other items beyond the Student’s backpack must be approved by the driver.
Repeated unsafe or disruptive conduct may result in suspension or termination of the Service.
10. Driver Qualifications
All drivers hold required commercial credentials.
The primary driver for Apolo Private Transport is Olbin Marino Gil Rapolo (786 810-0182), license number 61614, who is duly licensed to operate a 12–passenger van for the purpose of transporting students between home and school.
11. Vehicle Maintenance and Insurance
Vehicles are maintained in accordance with state and local safety standards.
The Provider carries commercial vehicle insurance with a Combined Single Limit (CSL) of $100,000, underwritten by Cable Insurance Company.
12. GPS Tracking and Video Recording
Vehicles may be GPS-tracked for operations, routing and safety.
Cameras record the front, rear and interior of the vehicle during transit for safety and investigations.
Data is stored securely and is accessible only to authorized personnel or as required by law.
13. Incidents, Accidents and Reporting
In case of an incident or accident, the Provider will notify Parents as soon as possible and assist with emergency response and reporting.

14. Termination and Suspension
The Provider may suspend or terminate Service for nonpayment, repeated absences, inappropriate conduct or violation of these Terms.
Refunds after termination are evaluated case-by-case.
15. Parent Responsibility for Damages
Parents are responsible for any damages caused to the vehicle by their Student, whether intentional or accidental.
Costs for repair or replacement arising from such damages may be billed directly to the Parent.
16. Force Majeure
The Provider is not responsible for failures or delays caused by Force Majeure events (e.g., weather, traffic, school closures).
17. Changes to the Terms
The Provider may modify the Terms. Significant changes will be communicated by email, text message or website posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

20. Categories of Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
A. Account and Registration Data
Parent name, email, phone number, billing address, emergency contact(s).
Student name, date of birth, school, grade, home pickup/drop-off address, authorized pickup persons, medical alerts (allergies, medications) if provided.
B. Payment and Billing Data
Information handled by our payment processor, billing and payment history.
C. Location and Vehicle Data
Real-time GPS location of vehicles in operation and historical route records for planning, service verification and safety.
D. Video/Audio Recordings
Video recordings of the front, rear and interior of the vehicle while in transit (used for safety, incident investigation and training).
E. Communications and Usage Data
Messages, texts, emails and support requests between Parents and Apolo Private Transport; incident reports; notification preferences

21. How We Use Your Data (Purposes)
We use data to:
Provide and operate transportation services (route planning, dispatch, pickup/drop-off).
Ensure Student safety (GPS tracking, video review, incident response).
Communicate schedule changes, billing and emergency notifications.
Process payments and billing.
Comply with legal obligations and cooperate with authorities as required.
Improve operations, internal analysis and training.
All provided data is used solely to perform the service and is kept private.
22. Legal Basis and Parental Consent
In the U.S., we rely on Parent consent and our legitimate interests (safety, operations, billing) to collect and process data. By enrolling a Student, you consent to GPS and video use as described.
23. Your Rights and Choices
Parents may:
Access and update account and contact information by contacting olbin@rideapolo.com.
Request deletion of their account and personal data, subject to legal/operational retention obligations.
Object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable.

24. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date and communicated by email or text when possible.
